1. Age requirement
MYTHOS is available only to people aged 18 or older. Anyone under 18 should not register, submit birth information, post content, enter Connections, or use messaging.
If you are under 18, stop using the service. A parent or guardian who finds a minor’s account can report it through the Safety Center and request deletion.
2. Age and real-person verification
We require an age confirmation at registration and may require adult and real-person verification before a higher-trust experience. Raw verification material should be held by a compliant provider; MYTHOS keeps only the necessary status and audit result.
Age verification never becomes a public identity. Other users see only a role and necessary trust status.
3. Suspected minor accounts
- If a system signal or report reveals inconsistent age information, publishing, Connections, and messaging may be paused.
- Authorized safety staff conduct a minimal review and offer a respectful age-confirmation path.
- Once an account is confirmed to belong to a minor, service stops and information is deleted or restricted under the Privacy Policy.
- Roleplay, jokes, or false profile data never excuse evading the age requirement.
4. Zero tolerance for child exploitation
Sexualized content, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, arranging contact, or facilitation involving a minor is prohibited. We remove content, disable related accounts, preserve evidence when legally necessary, and report to the competent authority when law or immediate risk requires it.
5. Adult user responsibilities
- Do not use MYTHOS to find, contact, or recruit minors.
- If someone says they are under 18, stop interacting and report through the Safety Center.
- Never request intimate media, location, school, contact, or identity information from a person who may be a minor.
- Do not route MYTHOS content into groups, events, or services intended for minors.
6. Deletion of a minor’s data
If we learn that information from a minor was collected by mistake, we delete or de-identify it after necessary safety and legal checks. Minimum evidence needed to protect a potential victim, investigate exploitation, or meet legal duties is access-restricted.
7. Reporting
Choose “Suspected minor” or “Minor safety” in Settings → Help & Safety Center. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
