1. Acceptance and scope
By creating an account or continuing to use MYTHOS, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and Minor Protection Policy. If you disagree, stop using the service and delete your account.
The closed beta will continue to evolve. We will explain material changes before they affect your rights and will not quietly expand data use or introduce charges.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into these Terms.
- Use your own email and device. Do not bulk-create, sell, rent, or share accounts.
- Protect your email and devices. Revoke sessions and contact the Safety Center if you detect unauthorized use.
- You may use a role name publicly, while MYTHOS may verify the real adult behind the account for safety and compliance.
3. Roles, references, and expression
MYTHOS generates an original role and cultural references from the birth details you voluntarily provide. Mythological and historical names explain recognizable qualities; original anime-inspired visuals do not imply sponsorship by a third-party work.
Role results are for creativity, self-understanding, and social expression. Do not use them for diagnosis or medical, legal, financial, employment, education, or other important decisions, or claim they determine another person’s fate or relationship.
4. Acceptable and prohibited conduct
- You may express genuine feelings through a role, join public shared moments, and send respectful requests with a specific reason.
- Do not harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, defraud, impersonate, pressure for money, or create unsafe offline situations.
- Do not disclose exact location, birth details, contact details, private messages, or identifying information belonging to another person.
- Do not scrape profiles, bypass recommendation limits, manipulate exposure, spam, sell accounts, or automate abuse.
- Do not upload content that violates copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights.
5. Your content and license
You retain rights in original content. You grant MYTHOS a worldwide, non-exclusive, service-limited license to store, display, translate, moderate, and distribute it to the audience you choose.
This license does not allow sale of your content or advertising use of private messages. It ends after deletion and reasonable technical processing, except for interactions lawfully retained by others and safety evidence kept under policy.
6. Connections, events, and messaging
A recommendation offers shared context and an understandable opening reason. It is not a compatibility warranty or relationship promise. You decide whether to communicate or meet.
Choose public places, tell a trusted contact, and keep your own way home. Unless MYTHOS is expressly identified as organizer, third-party event organizers are responsible for their events.
7. Moderation, account actions, and appeals
We may reduce visibility, remove content, limit sending, restrict an account, revoke sessions, or terminate access under the Community Guidelines. Material action requires a human reason and an audit record.
We provide an available reason and appeal path. Some safety details may remain confidential to protect reporters and the integrity of an investigation.
8. Service changes and responsibility limits
We work to keep MYTHOS safe and available but cannot promise uninterrupted service, a response to every request, or enough users in every place. The product shows an honest empty state when no suitable person is available.
To the extent permitted by law, MYTHOS is not responsible beyond mandatory legal requirements for other users’ conduct, third-party events, unforeseeable outages, or indirect losses. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.
9. Changes and disputes
Material updates are announced before they take effect. Applicable law, dispute terms, and mandatory consumer rights follow the regional version presented at registration, and these Terms do not waive rights that local law makes non-waivable.
